We typically respond within a few hours, usually faster during the day. For anything urgent during your stay, you'll also have direct access to our on-island house manager, who is available throughout your time at the home.

One of the things that makes Rincón del Descanso different from a typical vacation rental is that our guests have a dedicated, on-island house manager available throughout their stay. They can arrange a personal chef at the home, book whale shark tours and snorkeling trips during the appropriate seasons, coordinate golf-cart rentals, recommend restaurants, and handle anything else that comes up while you're on the island.
Most guests message us before they arrive to start planning the special touches — a chef on the first night, a private snorkeling trip to the MUSA underwater museum, a stocked fridge waiting when they walk in the door. Whatever you have in mind, we're happy to help arrange it.
Where the home is
Rincón del Descanso sits on the Caribbean side of Isla Mujeres, just outside of downtown in the Colonia Meteorológica neighborhood — close enough to walk to Playa Norte and the Hidalgo Street area, far enough that the home itself stays beautifully quiet. The local bus stops right at our gate every fifteen minutes, and a large Chedraui supermarket is a ten-minute walk away.
